MPSAN offers a wide selection of FKM radial shaft seals with OEM quality and able to deliver products with outstanding OE quality, distinguished by the high durability of their sealing properties. A new generation of innovative seals that help to reduce friction and fuel consumption is also available.
Seals around the engine shaft are continuously at risk for vibration, aggressive lubricants and extreme temperatures - all well-known causes for seal failure. Designed for such conditions our engine shaft seals are available for crankshafts, camshafts and auxiliary units. Our engine shaft seals consist of specially formulated elastomer compounds and are suitable for applications where any of the following conditions exist:
• Vibration
• Aggressive lubricants
• High level of external contamination
• Extreme temperatures and pressures
• High speeds
Our seal designs include conventional shaft seals with a garter spring, seals with a low friction elastomer sealing lip as well as PTFE sealing lips. The choice depends on the application and operating conditions. For applications with a level high contamination, cassette designs are also available. Additionally, our offer includes design features to enable correct functioning under significant shaft run-out or misalignment.
