Solutions for increasing demand
Cylinder head gaskets provide a seal for coolants, and lubricating oil all at the same time. The operating pressures and temperatures in modern engines are constantly on the increase. Meanwhile, engine oils contain additives that have an adverse affect on seals. This is particularly true with respect to direct injection diesel engines. Consequently, the gaskets used in such systems must compensate for ever-increasing dynamic deformation. The MPSAN solution is to supply gaskets featuring a combination of different metals with different elastomer layers, carefully adapted to complement each other and preserve the integrity of the seal.
